Alhamdulillah, September was another busy and rewarding month at Karimia Institute, filled with community events, educational activities and opportunities to bring people together.

In this month’s newsletter, we’re sharing highlights and memorable moments from across our centres and projects. Thank you to our staff, volunteers, supporters and community members who continue to make this work possible.

Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to…

New Academic Year

We welcomed pupils back, beginning another exciting journey of learning, faith and spiritual growth. We look forward to strengthening their connection with the Quran and inspiring a lifelong love of Islam.

Halal & Tayyib

We hosted an insightful talk by Gemma Ali, founder of HAWA, exploring the Islamic principles of Halal and Tayyib. The session highlighted animal welfare, ethical food choices, and treating Allah’s creation with compassion.

Visit My Mosque

We welcomed visitors for an afternoon of learning, friendship and community engagement, promoting interfaith understanding and stronger community relationships.

Shaykh Babikr Visit

We had the pleasure of hosting Shaykh Babikr for a beautiful evening of dhikr and hadrah, bringing our community together in remembrance of Allah, spiritual reflection and heartfelt devotion.
